Dr. Rajesh Patel is currently working as an In Charge Principal at Gujarat Power Engineering and Research Institute (GPERI). He has completed Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from S. P. University, Vallabh Vidyanagar in 1999 and Master of Engineering (ME) in Thermal Science from M. S. University, Vadodara in 2002. He has received PhD degree from Mechanical Engineering Department, New Jersey Institute of Technology, NJ, USA in 2011.
Dr. Patel has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience at reputed engineering institutes and research laboratories. He has published/presented around 15 technical papers in International Journals and conferences. Dr. Patel has visited many countries like USA, Canada, Australia, North Korea for International collaboration and presenting papers in conferences. His present area of research includes modelling of multiphase flow and chemical reaction in Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) process for petroleum refinery, water desalination using humidification and dehumidification techniques and thermal system design for effective heat transfer for industrial processes.
