Eligibility for Gujarat Agriculture Admission - 2019 for Group-A by GSAUCA Agriculture Admission 2019

  • Candidate should be a resident of Gujarat.
  • Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Education Certificate Examination (standard-12) with science stream in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and English / Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with the subject of Gujarat Board or other recognized Board of State.
  • In order to get admission in graduate courses, candidate must have completed at least 17 years from 01-08-2018.
  • B. Tech (Dairy Technology), B. Tech (Agri Engg.), B. Tech (Food Technology), B. Tech (Renewable Energy and Environment Engg.): In 12th standard, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (except for the Gracing Marks), at least the following marks should be obtained.
    • For Scheduled Caste Students : 35%
    • For Scheduled Tribes Students : 35%
    • For Students of Social and Educational Backward Classes : 40%
    • All other students who are considered to be as per the rules : 40%
  • B. Tech (Agri Information Technology):In the standard-12 examination, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects should have at least the following marks according to the category (apart from the Gracing Marks).
    • For Scheduled Caste Students : 35%
    • For Scheduled Tribes Students : 35%
    • For Students of Social and Educational Backward Classes : 40%
    • All other students who are considered to be as per the rules : 40%
  • Candidate should have passed the current year GUJCET examination for admission.
  • Candidates must have passed the examination from the following board for admission:
    • Gujarat board or
    • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
    • Council of Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi (CISE)
    • National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
    • International School Board (ISB)

Eligibility for Gujarat Agriculture Admission - 2019 for Group-B by GSAUCA Agriculture Admission 2019

  • Candidate should be a resident of Gujarat.
  • He/she must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (standard-12) along with physics, chemistry, biology and English subject of Gujarat State Board or other recognized board of the state.
  • In order to get admission in graduate courses, candidate must have completed at least 17 years from 01-08-2018.
  • B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture / B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture / B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry / BFSc/B.Tech (Biotechnology): In 12th standard, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (except for the Gracing Marks), at least the following marks should be obtained.
    • For Scheduled Caste Students : 105 Marks (35%)
    • For Scheduled Tribes Students : 105 Marks (35%)
    • For Students of Social and Educational Backward Classes : 120 Marks (40%)
    • All other students who are considered to be as per the rules : 120 Marks (40%)
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry: In standard-12 examination, only the following marks should be obtained in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Theory Examination of the subjects (except for the Gracing Marks).
    • For Scheduled Caste Students : 190 Marks (47.50%)
    • For Scheduled Tribes Students : 190 Marks (47.50%)
    • For Students of Social and Educational Backward Classes : 190 Marks (47.50%)
    • All other students who are considered to be as per the rules : 200 Marks (50%)
  • Candidate should have passed the current year GUJCET examination for admission.
  • Candidates must have passed the examination from the following board for admission:
    • Gujarat board or
    • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
    • Council of Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi (CISE)
    • National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
    • International School Board (ISB)

Extra Marks Given to Sports Quota

*Note : This benefit will be available to the candidate only once during his tenure.

Additional receptive marks

  • Those students who have passed the standard 12 examination with agricultural vocational stream or with North Basic stream (including agricultural subjects), only 5% marks are admissible for admission to (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Biotechnology) courses.
  • An additional 5% marks for the farmer's son / daughter / brother / sister / grandchildren / granddaughter are only available for admission in agriculture (agriculture, horticulture, forestry and biotechnology) and B.Tech (Dairy Technology) courses. For this, the student has his / her parents / grandfather (paternity) / grandmother (Parent) or brother / sister having agricultural land in the state of Gujarat, 7 - 12/8 - A of the current financial year (dated 09.04.2018) Letter of the Talati / Minister / Mamlatdar showing the relation between the land holder and the student and the student should be submitted.
  • An additional 15% marks for the fisherman's student / fisherman's son / daughter / brother / sister / grandchildren / granddaughter of Gujarat state are only available for admission in Fisheries course. For which the student will have to submit a certificate of valid authority to the meaning of his / her parents / grandfather or grandmother (paternal) brother or sister involved in fishing business or production.
  • Students participating in sports, national and international level are given extra (0.5 to 7 percent) marks according to the rules for admission to all graduate courses.
